Heyo! Mitch and Day here 👋🏼

We’re just your typical American-Colombian couple determined to live every second of our precious time here on earth to the fullest. After a 10-month solo backpacking trip through South America, I (Mitch) stopped in Cali, Colombia to take salsa dancing classes 💃🏻. I only planned to stay for a couple weeks, but God had other plans for me. I met a cute Colombian girl (Day) in class, those couple weeks turned into a couple years, and before we knew it…we were married 👰🏻🤵🏼

Now we’re traveling the world full time as digital nomads, supporting ourselves by working online 👨‍💻👩‍💻

Our goal with these videos is to inspire you to step outside your comfort zone, give you an inside peek at our crazy imperfect lives, and show you that you don’t have to be rich to live an extraordinary life…all you need to do is make the choice!

  1. If you don’t want to deal with YouTube premium, there are loads of MP4 converters you can get for YouTube to download them as files

  2. Get up offen to prevent clots from forming and giving you a heart attack. This from a cardiac surgeon in a class i took.

  3. Great tips. I have been using a backpack for years, and keep any essentials and valuables in it. I put it under the seat in front of me, and keep a charged cordless razor in it to keep from getting stubble on long flights, and layovers. I wear shoes that slip off easy as my feet tend to get hot usually, but my feet don’t stink, I am showered, and have fresh clothes. I also usually travel one airline that has screens built into the seat in front of you, so I bring folding, noise cancelling headphones. I also use a blow up neck pillow, as you can deflate it, and it takes very little room. Also, if I get the seats in front of the mid cabin bathroom, you can recline them and nobody behind you to complain, but you hear all the flushes. The backpack also leaves both hands free when walking through the airport, or at least one hand free if you have your checked luggage.

  4. Thanks for the good tips. On longhaul I go for the aisle seat. I don’t have to disturb others going to the loo plus I like to get up and go walkabout around the cabin. Another thing though, I’ve read only in first class do you have bathrooms. In economy class you’ve only got toilets with wash basins. Just joking😊 about American
    prudishness.

  5. Had a 15 hour flight from USA -> Japan last year. Basically I stayed up all night the night before. Boarded the plane dead tired, and fell asleep after take off. Was woken up for about 30 minutes for the in-flight meal, and a bathroom break and basically dozed off again after the meal. When I finally woke up feeling well rested there was only about 3 hours left of the flight. Probably not recommended to stay up all night, but hey it worked! it took 11 hours out of my flight in an instant!

  7. Peanut Butter? That’s asking for trouble if you have an allergic passenger onoard because peanut allergy is also airborne.

I’m not allergic to peanuts but I have known some co-workers who are we can’t have those near them lol

  8. All great tips!
But when is someone ever going to address the the issue of BASIC ECONOMY flyers who aren’t even allowed to have a carry on. Only a tiny little personal item bag. That sucks really bad for long trips, because you are so limited to what you can bring.

  9. I got a 22 hour flight coming up 😢😢😢 literally 2 eleven hour flight back to back. I noticed my foot actually swollen the last super long flight. So I got leg compression socks. I got these leg massages that I hope helps. And I got a face mask support that wraps around the headset. So I’m praying that will support me from neck pain. Also some sleeping aids. I’m dreading this. Please pray for me. I literally feel crazy and resting legs syndrome.

  10. You have to stand up and walk every few hours. Screw it if you have to bother people, it is better than getting thrombosis.

  11. The blankets and pillow cases are cleaned after each flight. You’re not using it right after someone. "First flight of the day" is also a pretty irrelevant thought for long haul flights

FYI here’s a handy checklist of all these tips in case you need a quick reminder: https://bit.ly/40SQYIZ

  13. Well if you change your sleep pattern before you risk missing breakfast, lunch dinner service because they serve at the same timeline as when you take off.

  14. Pmsl annoying fellow passengers with your farts…yep a flight home from cyprus there was a lad that had the farts i was unfortunate to be sitting right behind him 4 hours of him farting was so annoying

  15. Crying babies, all been here. I find sitting at the rear of the cabin generally means less small children, especially babies as they tend to be near the bulkhead.

  16. Aint no way somebody is pissing on themselves on a plane on purpose because they doubled up on some ADULT DIAPERS 🤯🤯. That is gross

  17. Hi, when you use the restroom, do you leave your handbag under the seat or you hand it over to the person sitting next to you?

  18. I usually always pick aisle seat I prefer the peace in mind free to go to the toilet whenever I want. Once long flight didn’t come with free to select seat, so I didn’t pick for the first time. I end up in the middle, next to a guy who sat in the aisle seat when he boarded, and never stood up again, slept like a dead log throughout, I tried to gently pat him several times, no response, gradually increase the strength to a light slap kind of thing took minutes before he woke up. Gosh my bladder

  19. To sleep like a baby pop a couple of sleeping pills, put on earplugs and an eye mask and you’ll be in la-la land in no time.

  20. I always take several plastic bags on my trip: a larger one for my backpack that goes under the seat in front of me in the event someone pees, barfs, or spills something on the floor in front and it seeps to the rear – not likely, but it has happened. Another reason is dirty shoes from the previous passenger, you don’t know if they stepped in dirt, poo or grease/gum, so your under-the-seat stow-away is protected. I also carry a smaller plastic bag for rubbish collection. It’s pretty inconvenient to stack everyone’s drinks, cans, cups, plastic utensils and empty packages from a meal onto one tiny tray table if you’re the person who needs to get out into the aisle to use the toilet; just throw the garbage bulk into the bag so the person you are stepping over can close their tray table.
